Aachen - founded by Charlemagne in 796, this masterpiece of architecture holds his imperial throne and serves as his final resting place.🏰


Aachen is also known for it's thermal springs, wich have been used for health pouposes for centuries,dating back to Roman era. The mineral-rich hot springs in Aachen are renowed for their supposed healing properties, making it a spa town. While the city's officiol name is not always used , it somethimes appears as "BAD Aachen" in contexts emphasizng its statu as spa town.💧🛁
